The Michigan Lottery has appointed Pollard Banknote as its instant game ticket provider for a five-year contract.

After securing the deal, Pollard Banknote will now supply the Michigan lottery with 90% of its instant game lottery tickets every year. In addition, Pollard has also been awarded a contract to supply validation pull-tab tickets.

The company's identity is embedded deep within the state of Michigan and, as a supplier of instant ticket products, in-lane ticket options and licensed games to 60+ lotteries globally. The Michigan Lottery will hope that Pollard’s knowledge and expertise will result in a smooth, functional partnership.

The two have been partners since 1996, wherein Pollard has assisted the Michigan Lottery with a range of retail solutions, omnichannel products and instant games.

In the last 10 years, the Michigan Lottery has seen a 182% increase in ticket sales per capita – something Pollard will surely hope continues over the next half a decade and beyond.

Co-CEO at Pollard Banknote, Doug Pollard, said: “We are honored to be selected as the primary supplier of instant game tickets to the Michigan Lottery. We deeply value the relationship we have built with the Michigan Lottery and the communities in which we operate within the state.”
