Simplebet has appointed Andre Bessette to the role of Chief Product Officer.
Bessette first joined the company in 2019 as its Director of Product, before being moved up to the VP of Product in 2022.
In this new role, Bessette will drive product innovation, as well as oversee operations and partnerships, all with a focus on live betting experiences.
One of its most recent products was a game tracker launched specifically for March Madness, which gave players a dedicated platform to follow its in-play micro-betting markets, with animated plays, visualisations and statistics to aid with bets.
Simplebet COO Mark Nerenberg said: “Andre has played a key role at Simplebet for the last five years and we are delighted to appoint him as Chief Product Officer.
“We have ambitious plans to expand our offerings over the next 12-18 months, and promoting Andre to CPO shows our commitment to winning with product, technology, and innovation.”
Prior to working at Simplebet, Bessette was a Senior Business Analyst with Capital One, where he was responsible for reward redemption data and conversion rates.
He also worked with DraftKings as the Manager of Analytics for two years, before transitioning to Simplebet.
