Kambi signs sportsbook partnership with Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

Kambi Group has partnered with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma to provide the tribe with its sportsbook technology and services. The exclusive nationwide sportsbook agreement will impact land-based and online operations headed by the tribe.

The partnership will see the Choctaw Nation combine its digital and ecommerce experience with Kambi’s turnkey sportsbook solution, creating sports betting opportunities both online and at retail locations. Choctaw Casinos & Resorts include three casino resorts and one casino in locations including Durant, Pocola and Grant.

Following regulatory approvals, online sportsbook play may expand into several states.

The Choctaw Nation is the exclusive casino resort partner of the Texas Rangers sports team and has previously partnered with several notable sporting figures. This year, the operator also entered an exclusive partnership with White Hat Gaming to receive the tech provider’s iGaming PAM platform solution, including access to a proprietary cashier, Traveling Wallet and multiple RGS integrations.

It is also not Kambi’s first partnership of the year, having partnered with Kwiff via its subsidiary Tzeract and with BetMakers earlier this month. The company also released its Q1 figures this month, where revenue had dropped 1.8% year-on-year.

Kambi CEO and Co-Founder Kristian Nylén said: “This is a landmark partnership for Kambi with exciting long-term potential. Not only does Choctaw Nation have fantastic, well positioned gaming and entertainment facilities in Oklahoma, but its proven track record in developing successful digital businesses gives me every confidence that together we will create thrilling sports betting experiences for its players.”

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Senior Executive Officer of Commerce Heidi Grant added: “We are thrilled to have entered into a long-term agreement with Kambi.”

We also spoke to members of the Choctaw Nation in the March/ April edition of Gaming America Magazine.
