The deal is part of modernisation efforts across gaming halls in Colombia as Novomatic secures its presence in the country.

Novomatic debuts Fazi Mega Pay machines in Colombia

Novomatic has installed the first machines with Mega Pay capabilities in Colombia.

The regional branch, Novomatic Gaming Colombia, worked closely with operator Vicca Group to install the new roulette machines in Gran Casino Buenavista and Zamba Plaza del Parque.

These locations are gaming halls located in the city of Barranquilla, the largest city and major port in the Caribbean coast region.

This deal supports the initiative from Novomatic to expand its presence in Colombia.

Currently, Novomatic operates seven subsidiaries in LatAm, serving 300 customers and supporting over 44,000 active machines in the jurisdiction.

In its press release, Novomatic said: “Thank you Vicca Group for your trust and professionalism.”

The roulette machines included the Optimum and Titan models, the flagship models from Fazi, both of which feature a physical wheel surrounded by electronic screens for customers to wager on.

The hybrid models allow for live-streamed dealers on screens above the wheels, as well as additional animations and statistics to be displayed.

Fazi is part of the Novomatic group and is responsible for developing both the Optimum and Titan models and the Mega Pay feature.

The Mega Pay feature allows for x75 or x500 multipliers along with the option for random numbers and multipliers to be chosen.

Earlier this month, Relax Gaming also signed a deal for the LatAm markets, although this time for the southern country of Chile.

The partnership with Betsala would see its titles integrated into the online casino’s library, including Money Train 4, Temple Tumble and Beast Mode.
