Phil Richards named GiG CFO for Platform & Sportsbook
Richards brings financial experience from a number of different sectors.
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has appointed Phil Richards as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Platform & Sportsbook.
Richards’ experience has come from the iGaming, cybersecurity and accounting sectors, having worked for the likes of Kambi, Corero Network Security, Shell and KPMG, with a background in finance.
In this new role for GiG, he will oversee the finance department and will also support the wider business concerning areas such as M&A, investor relations and market development.
The appointment of Richards comes as the platform and sportsbook segment looks to grow, with GiG continuing to invest in its product and technological capabilities.

In other company news, GiG recently launched its new social sweepstakes casino platform, SweepX, in collaboration with land-based sweepstakes operator Primero Games.
