Gaming Innovation Group’s media division, GiG Media, has announced an official policy to implement the Quality Mark Regulatory Assurance (QMRA) across its websites operating in regulated markets.
Affiliate GiG Media has decided that all its websites in markets serviced by QMRA will adhere to the Quality Mark. Over the next few months, GiG Media will begin ensuring compliance in collaboration with the QMRA team. The company has already partnered with QMRA for its websites targeting the Swedish and UK markets.
QMRA, a regulatory compliance initiative, began in February 2024 and is an expansion of the Dutch Quality Mark KVA. It covers multiple regions including Ontario, Sweden, Germany and Denmark.
Milorad Matejic, GiG Media COO, stated: “GiG Media is pleased to cooperate with QMRA in enhancing our compliance initiatives. Adhering to its standards on our websites where QMRA services the market demonstrates our commitment to compliance at GiG Media.”
Steven Vrolijk, QMRA Director, added: “GiG was one of the first KVA members, so we know each other already. GiG knows our work and our serious efforts. I am happy to say that our KVA evidence led them to be the first to make QMRA official company policy.”
In June 2024, GiG announced a partnership with GP Gaming to launch its SportX and CoreX platforms in multiple European markets, including a dedicated launch in France, pending regulatory approvals.
QMRA has also expanded to Ontario, Canada, adding to its growing list of regulated markets. The initiative aims to ensure affiliates meet local compliance standards. Since its inception, QMRA has attracted affiliates like Game Lounge, Unilead, Leadstar Media and Applied Digital Media.
