Crypto casino Stake has entered a deal with non-profit responsible gambling organisation, BetBlocker, which will allow its customers to use the BetBlocker RG tool free of charge.

This newly brokered deal seeks to enhance Stake’s player safeguarding measures with a view to minimising gambling harm for its customers.

Available via anonymous software which allows players to block access to a wide range of gambling websites, BetBlocker can be used as a safer gambling instrument for players experiencing problems with addiction. The BetBlocker tool allows players to block themselves in advance and set a timeframe which ranges from a several days to years.

Speaking on the deal was Pedro Romero, Chief of Safer Gambling Partnerships at BetBlocker, said: "BetBlocker is thrilled to collaborate with Stake to expand the reach of our software. We are delighted that Stake is taking a significant step forward in promoting responsible gambling.”

Earlier this month, BetBlocker also entered into a data-sharing collaboration with Blask, a provider of AI-driven analytics in iGaming. Now, it will hope this new partnership with Stake will help to drive its push for enhanced responsible gambling practices.

A Stake spokesperson also commented on the collaboration, saying: "At Stake, we pride ourselves on delivering an entertaining and customer-centric experience, while acknowledging the importance of responsible gambling. Strengthening our relationship with BetBlocker plays an integral role in ensuring their product serves to benefit our customers.”

In January, Stake partnered with Mancala Gaming in the US market.
