Betnation, one of Smart Gaming BV’s brands, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) as part of its recent sportsbook launch in the Netherlands.
Betnation, which is known mainly as an online casino in the Netherlands, announced its sportsbook launch in partnership with Metric Gaming and Bragg back in May.
The operator joins over 50 companies and 125 sports betting brands that make up the IBIA’s integrity network, while this collaboration means the IBIA represents over 90% of the licensed sportsbooks currently in operation in the Netherlands.
This news comes shortly after two other operators who work within sports betting, namely Aposta Ganha and Novibet, joined the association.
Smart Gaming B.V. (Betnation) CEO Robert Schouten said: “We are thrilled to join IBIA and affirm our commitment to promoting the highest standards of integrity in sports betting. By working with industry leaders, we aim to ensure a safe and fair betting experience for all users.”
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali added: “IBIA is delighted that Betnation has chosen IBIA as its preferred integrity monitoring partner. The move highlights Betnation's commitment to protecting the integrity of its betting products, consumers and related sporting events by utilising the world’s leading operator-led monitoring and alert network.
“IBIA looks forward to working closely with Betnation and to integrating the operator within our global sports betting integrity system.”
