Betsson has announced its new role as the official betting partner of the ATP tournament Nordea Open.

The event, scheduled from 15 - 21 July in Båstad, Sweden, is set to feature top-tier players including world no. 1 Jannik Sinner and the renowned Rafael Nadal.

The Nordea Open (formerly known as the Swedish Open) is one of the oldest tennis tournaments globally, with its origins dating back to 1948.

This year’s edition will be broadcast in 90 countries, reaching an estimated audience of 40-50 million viewers.

As part of the sponsorship, Betsson’s logos will be prominently displayed in the arena and the company will offer a variety of betting odds on the tournament.

This partnership adds to Betsson’s presence in the tennis world, with the company already operating as the main sponsor for the upcoming BNP Paribas Nordic Open in Stockholm.

Commenting on the new partnership, Sara Bergh, Operations Manager at Nordea Open, stated: “We are very proud to welcome Betsson as a new partner to the Nordea Open. Betsson joins a strong partner family and through its commitment will further consolidate the event’s position and presence on the international tennis scene.”

Ronni Hartvig, CCO of Betsson Group, added: “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Nordea Open, which this year features world-class stars.

“Betsson has long been involved in tennis, both in Sweden and globally, but it is difficult to find a more fantastic environment than tennis in Båstad.”

This partnership deal adds to a string of global sports sponsorships for Betsson. Just this week, the company announced that it has become the front-of-shirt sponsor for Serie A side FC Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan).
