Sophie Hodgson announced as new Blexr COO
Hodgson joined Blexr less than two years ago and is now moving up from her role as VP People & Talent.
Blexr has revealed a new Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Sophie Hodgson, who moves up from her previous role of Vice President of People and Talent.
After joining Blexr in November of 2022, Hodgson has assisted in the development of building career frameworks, transparent pay bands and enhancing employee experiences to nurture career development and employee retention.
Previously, Hodgson has worked in both start-up businesses and multinational corporations. Further, she steps into this new executive role with previous experience as the CEO and Founder of the Storm Collaborative, and as COO of BAE Systems Air.
In her new role, Hodgson’s responsibilities will remain in the People and Talent company sector, while also extending to assisting the rest of the executive team with day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Speaking of the new role, Hodgson said: “I am incredibly excited to take on this new challenge and continue to build on the solid foundations we’ve established at Blex. My goal is to create a positive, high-performing environment that attracts and retains top talent, fosters employee engagement, and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion that aligns with Blexr’s overarching strategy.”

In April of 2022, Blexr announced the acquisition of New Zealand-based casino review site – CasinoReviews.net.nz in a move to enhance it product portfolio.
