Oddschecker has announced that its Million Pound Predictor has returned for the upcoming Premier League campaign, which gets underway on 16 August.

The FairPlay Sports Media brand’s free-to-play game gives registered players the chance to win £1m ($1.28m) by accurately predicting the final Premier League table.

Once Oddschecker users are logged in on the Millon Pound Predictor page, they will be able to predict the positions of all 20 teams in England’s top flight.

While the season may get up and running on Friday with Fulham’s visit to Manchester United, users will have until game week 4 to make changes to their predictions.

There wasn’t an outright winner of the Million Pound Predictor last season, with the closest being two players picking ten correct places.

FairPlay Sports Media Director of Brand Chris Gillett said: “The Million Pound Predictor has cemented itself as an annual tradition for Oddschecker players when the new Premier League season returns each year. And with it being a free shot at life-changing money, it really is a no-brainer to take part.

“I’ve got a few thoughts of my own about where certain teams will under and over-perform, but I know there are thousands of Oddschecker users out there who will be readying their form books and analytics for the new season to find that edge and potentially nail down those 20 correct team placements.”

In other sports betting news, Paddy Power last week paid out on Celtic winning the Scottish Premiership after only the opening weekend of action in the 2024/25 season.
