BetComply, a firm specialising in regulatory and technical compliance for the iGaming industry, has appointed Loes Wetzer as Operations Director.

Wetzer brings over 20 years of experience in project management and compliance consultancy to BetComply, where she will manage operations as the company continues to expand.

Since its founding less than a year ago, BetComply has grown to nearly 20 employees, supporting various clients in Europe and the Americas with compliance services.

Wetzer’s background includes experience in compliance and event management within the gaming industry, where she has reportedly built a strong network. At BetComply, she aims to focus on scaling operations to meet growing demand.

CEO Daniel Brookes noted: “It’s a privilege to welcome Loes to Team BetComply. We’ve grown beyond expectations over the past few months, driven by a demand from our industry for trusted and reliable compliance expertise. As we take our next steps, Loes will be a vital part of our mission to bring compliance support to even more partners.”

This development follows BetComply’s strategic partnership with Metric Gaming, aimed at navigating regulatory landscapes in the UK and the Netherlands. The partnership is designed to support Metric Gaming’s expansion into these regulated markets by developing compliance strategies and identifying new opportunities.

BetComply has been involved in other regulatory partnerships, such as assisting Hard Rock Casino NL in obtaining a Dutch gaming licence. This involved meeting the regulatory requirements set by the KSA, showcasing BetComply’s capability to guide its partners through complex compliance processes in the iGaming sector.
