STS becomes regional partner of Borussia Dortmund in Poland

This is said to be the first such sponsorship agreement in the Polish bookmaking market’s history.

STS becomes regional partner of Borussia Dortmund in Poland

STS has agreed a deal which will see the operator become the regional partner of Borussia Dortmund in Poland.

Through this deal, STS has industry exclusivity for Poland, including the use of the Dortmund logo, using the title regional partner and exclusive use of unique content for fans of the club.

On top of this, STS will be able to use the image of Dortmund’s players in advertising and create promotional campaigns and competitions for social media, while the STS logo will appear on LED bands for the club’s Bundesliga matches, broadcast in Poland.

STS will also be a partner for former BVB players Łukasz Piszczek and Jakub Błaszczykowski’s farewell match, taking place on 7 September at the Signal Iduna Park.

STS CEO Radim Haluza said: “Borussia is a great brand in world sports, and at the same time a club that has a very large community in Poland, for which we will prepare a number of surprises and non-standard and unique activities. Polish BVB fans associate a lot of positive sporting memories with the club, among others due to the games of Lewandowski, Piszczek and Błaszczykowski.

“We want to use this positive sentiment and emotions to the benefit of the STS brand and our clients, and at the same time show that our involvement in sponsorship activities will increase. This partnership opens up new opportunities for us and will certainly strengthen the image of STS as a leader in the Polish market.”

STS Head of PR & Sponsorship Paweł Sikora commented: “The agreement with Borussia Dortmund is the first step that will allow us to once again strongly mark STS’s presence on the sponsorship market through a creative and unconventional approach to concluded agreements. As a market leader, we want to establish partnerships with the largest brands, which is perfectly suited to the contract with Borussia Dortmund.”

Borussia Dortmund Managing Director Carsten Cramer added: “We feel close to the fans in Poland and we are very happy to be able to cooperate with STS in a regional partnership. The farewell match of two BVB legends – Kuba Błaszczykowski and Łukasz Piszczek, is a great start to our cooperation. What is more, we have planned many attractions for BVB fans in Poland together.”

In other sports partnership news today, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced that the online betting site Dafabet has become its official Team Associate Sponsor for the Men’s and Women’s teams.
