Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has completed its acquisition of Titan, a supplier of SEO and content services.
In the initial announcement, it was confirmed that GiG would pay a total of €3.2m ($3.4m), which will be scheduled as €1m after closing, another €1m after 12 months and the final €1.2m after two years.
Titan’s integration will support the operational capabilities of Gentoo Media, formerly known as GiG Media, with its content and affiliate business.
The move will also impact cost-saving measures, where SEO and content costs are expected to be ‘significantly reduced’ for divisions consolidated under Titan with anticipated figures reaching up to 50%.
Jonas Warrer, Gentoo Media CEO and GiG Acting Group CEO, said: “I'm pleased to announce that we have completed the acquisition of Titan.
“This acquisition aligns with our strategic goals to enhance operational efficiencies and strengthen our position in the market. Integrating Titan's SEO and content expertise will improve our service capabilities.
“We look forward to realising the benefits this brings to our operations and stakeholders.”
Last year, Titan reported €3.3m in revenue with an EBITDA of €0.72m, meaning that the acquisition cost came in just under the company’s revenue total.
On the initial deal, Lee Tadd, Titan Co-CEO and Co-Founder said: “We are thrilled to join forces with GiG Media.
"Our combined expertise will enable us to deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.
“We look forward to leveraging our strengths to drive innovation and excellence in SEO and content services.”
