WPT Global and JP Poker Card Club & Casino to launch new tournament
The partnership will see the launch of a monthly tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of up to €50,000 ($55,597).
Online poker platform WPT Global has partnered with Ireland’s JP Poker Card Club & Casino to launch a new monthly poker tournament.
The tournament will feature a €200 ($222.39) buy-in and a guaranteed €50,000 prize pool. The collaboration also offers players opportunities to participate in the World Poker Tour (WPT) and various promotions on WPT Global.
The partnership would connect online and live poker, allowing players to qualify through daily online satellite tournaments hosted by WPT Global. Winners would advance to Online Day 1 and then to the live tournament held at JP Poker Card Club & Casino. WPT would also kick-start the event by hosting a special satellite guaranteeing 20 seats for the live tournament.
