MGM China will host the annual Oktoberfest Macau in 2024. The event is to be held from 25 October to 5 November, with support from the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO). Residents and tourists from around the world are welcomed to join the 12-day Bavarian bierfest, which would aim to highlight Macau’s status as a UNESCO-designated “Creative City of Gastronomy.”
For the past 13 years, the annual event hosted more than 180,000 guests. MGM China’s event would mark the 14th Oktoberfest Macau. There would be genuine German Oktoberfest brew Löwenbräu available alongside a variety of non-alcoholic options, traditional German food and beverages, served by staff in traditional dirndl costumes. Other highlights of the event included carnival booth games as well as performance by the Högl Fun Band from Munich.
The Oktoberfest Macau will be held at the 1/F Roof Terrace of MGM COTAI, starting from 6pm to 12am.
Earlier this month, MGM China partnered with the Macau New Chinese Youth Association to co-organised the Responsible Gaming (RG) Community Carnival. The aim is to promote the public understanding of responsible gambling and raise awareness among local youth about gambling disorders.
The carnival received support from the Social Welfare Bureau of Macau SAR, the University of Macau and Macau Polytechnic University.
