Massive Gaming (MVG) has announced a partnership with LT Game to develop next-generation slot machines for land-based casinos.
The agreement, formalised on 23 September 2024, combines LT Game’s expertise in gaming equipment and systems with MVG’s software development capabilities.
The collaboration is expected to focus on creating new slot machine products aimed at the global casino market.
Massive Gaming is known for its work in the iGaming industry, providing software for various online games. With this partnership, the company seeks to expand its reach into the offline casino sector.
LT Game has a strong presence in the gaming equipment market, particularly in Macau, the United States and the Philippines. The company supplies gaming systems and hardware to numerous casinos in these regions.
In a previous case from 2017, LT Game settled a dispute with International Game Technology (IGT) over a commercial licensing agreement. The settlement included a payment of $800,000 to resolve issues related to the agreement, which had given IGT rights to certain LT Game technologies outside the Macau market.
The partnership between Massive Gaming and LT Game is expected to focus on combining resources to address evolving demands in the casino sector, though neither company has provided specific timelines or product launch dates.
Both companies have stated that the collaboration is aimed at enhancing their positions within the global gaming industry, particularly in land-based casinos.
As of now, the companies are in the early stages of the partnership and more details are anticipated as development progresses.
