Inspired Entertainment upgrades VLT’s for long-term partner OPAP

Key points:

-4,000 of OPAP’s VLTs will be upgraded

-This arrangement includes the launch of the Valor Slant VLT

Inspired Entertainment is set to provide 4,000 of its latest Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) to one of its long-time partners, OPAP.

The supplier will be providing these upgrades to 4,000 of OPAP’s machines, which will include the global launch of the Valor Slant VLT, which has been designed exclusively for the Greek market. The new VLT features dual 32-inch HD screens and joins some of the other cabinets OPAP has, including the Valor and Vantage cabinets.

Inspired and OPAP have been working together since 2017. Currently, there are more than 9,400 machines already in the market from the supplier for the Greek gaming company.

The Valor Slant and additional Vantage machines will begin to be brought to the market for OPAP in the coming months.

Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce said: “OPAP has been a valued partner for Inspired and we are thrilled to strengthen this collaboration.

“The introduction of the Valor Slant, along with the addition of Vantage cabinets, provides OPAP with an ideal range of VLTs that cater to player preferences.”

OPAP Chairman and CEO Jan Karas added: “The refreshment of our VLTs fleet is a priority for OPAP. Our goal is to always meet and exceed customer expectations, offering them state-of-the-art machines and engaging new games, which allow us to always be one step ahead.

“Therefore, we are pleased to be cooperating with Inspired Entertainment for the introduction of their innovative Valor Slant cabinets and the expansion of our Vantage machine lineup.”

This news comes after what was a busy week last week for Inspired, which secured an NHL licence related to its interactive virtual sports games, while also announcing that Loto-Québec will be the first Canadian operator to offer its hybrid Dealer Roulette game.
