Veikkaus has strengthened its relationship with the National Hockey League (NHL) through a new agreement, securing its position as an official partner of the ice hockey league.
The partnership deal, covering the 2024-2026 seasons, will expand NHL content availability across Veikkaus’ platforms.

Through this updated partnership, VeikkausTV will broadcast over 700 live NHL matches during the 2024-2025 season, including both regular season and playoff games.
The timing of the announcement coincides with the upcoming Tampere Global Series, where Finnish NHL stars will compete before their home crowd.
Commenting on the deal, Tuomo Torkkola, Veikkaus’ Contact Manager, stated: “With the targeted NHL partnership, we will be able to bring more official content from the world’s highest-level hockey league to our channels in the future.
“There is a wide demand for our NHL content and it is great that we can offer it to our customers and Finns interested in the series also during the 2024-2026 seasons.”
NHL Director of Business Development, Joseph Stravato, added: “We are excited about the continued cooperation with Veikkaus. We are committed to producing content for Finnish hockey fans together.
“It’s great to be able to publish the collaboration before the Tampere Global Series (1-2 November) matches, thanks to which some of the biggest Finnish NHL stars get to play for their home crowd.”
