ComeOn Group has added its sportsbook to its offering in the Canadian province of Ontario.

In April 2022, the company obtained a gambling licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, allowing it to deliver its casino games to players in the region, while at the same time it brought its streaming product WeSpin to the market there.

But now, after receiving the necessary permits, it has added to its offering in the region by introducing its sportsbook.

Comeon Group is looking to double its sportsbook business in the coming years with continued investment in its sportsbook business acceleration.

ComeOn Group CEO Juergen Reutter said: “We are very excited about the opportunities this new milestone opens up for us. As a casino-led operator it represents a key part of our sportsbook strategy to double our business in the coming years.

Good to know: ComeOn Group recently relocated its sportsbook, tech and risk management hub to a new and central office space

“Like in any of our other markets, we are striving for a differentiated sportsbook entertainment experience that is powered by our in-house technology. Our goal is to deliver top-tier entertainment to our players while fostering safe and innovative gaming experiences.”

The Ontario market has been a main focus for many companies in the gambling industry this year.

In in recent weeks, this has been highlighted by Relax Gaming expanding its footprint in Ontario through a partnership with PointsBet and DS Virtual Gaming receiving certification from Gaming Labs International (GLI) for Ontario.
