Key points:
- The deal will involve Bloomberry’s brand Solaire Resorts
- A number of features such as GiG’s CoreX will be included
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has entered the Asian market for the first time after securing an agreement with Bloomberry Resorts.
This deal will involve Solaire Resorts, Bloomberry’s flagship brand, which will have access to a number of tools and features from GiG.
Bloomberry owns and operates Solaire Resort Entertainment City, which is located in Metro Manila, as well as Solaire Resort North and Solaire Online.
Through this agreement, GiG will provide a number of technology solutions, such as its iGaming platform CoreX and AI tools DataX and LogicX, which aim to enhance decision-making processes and rule-building.
Good to know: GiG Media, a division of GiG, rebranded as Gentoo Media back in June
The deal will also aid GiG itself as it looks to further expand its reach in regulated markets around the world. For example, in the UK it expanded its presence during the summer through deals with Betzone and The Football Pools.
GiG CEO Richard Carter said: “This is a landmark moment for GiG as we enter the Asian iGaming market for the first time and continue to deliver on our strategic objectives, enlarging our total addressable market.
“Our experience in delivering cutting-edge iGaming solutions in evolving regulatory environments, together with Bloomberry's established market presence, means GiG is poised to take full advantage of the region's growing online gaming sector.”
In other news from the region, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. Last week officially mandated a nationwide ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
