After revealing the nominees for the Executive of the Year category last week, we are happy to present the Shortlist across the remaining 15 categories. “Congratulations to all operators and suppliers from the EMEA, who made it to this year’s Shortlist,” said Mariya Savova, Event Manager of the Global Gaming Awards.

“We were overwhelmed by the number of strong nominations that companies put forward and it was incredibly difficult to narrow down the Shortlist to just 10 companies in each category.”

“Those of you who were shortlisted should be so proud as this verifies that you are one of the 10 best in your field. And to those who didn’t make it to the final Shortlist this year, please don’t be discouraged. The competition has really been fierce, and you will have another opportunity,” she added.

The Global Gaming Awards are the most prestigious in the industry as every company and individual is shortlisted on merit, for a reason which you can read in the official Shortlist magazine further below. In addition, the Awards are so coveted because the winners are chosen by a panel of 50 senior industry executives, with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies adjudicating the voting process to ensure transparency and fairness.

Some of the exeuctives on this year's Judging Panel include Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi; Daniela Johansson, Deputy CEO of Paf; Siobhan Lane, CEO-Gaming at Light & Wonder; Per Jaldung, CEO of Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE, to name a few.

The Shortlist was decided following a detailed review of self-nominations, submitted by companies. We also asked independent industry consultants and experts for their recommendations.

The winners of the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa will be revealed at an invite-only event on Day 1 of ICE, 20 January 2025, in Barcelona. The presentation ceremony will be live streamed for those that are unable to attend. The Global Gaming Awards are powered by Gambling Insider with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies acting as the official voting adjudicator. BetConstruct is the Lead Partner of the event and category sponsors are Interblock, Soft2Bet, Aristocrat Gaming, SPRIBE, Gammastack, Bragg Gaming, Z-Gaming, Digitain, BGaming, Imagine Live, GR8 Tech, Galaxsys, EGT, 1xBet and EveryMatrix.
