BetMakers Technology Group has announced the long-term extension of its pricing and data services agreement with Australian wagering operator Sportsbet.
The renewal ensures that Sportsbet will continue to utilise BetMakers’ proprietary technology to manage racing market data and pricing strategies across thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing.
Under the agreement, BetMakers will provide global race day control services, supporting Sportsbet’s operations in market management, trading strategies and event life-cycle management.
Good to know: Sportsbet, which serves over 2.2 million customers in Australia, has relied on BetMakers’ technology to enhance its racing product offerings
BetMakers has been active in securing agreements with both domestic and international operators. Earlier this year, BetMakers extended its collaboration with Dabble, supplying the operator with its Price Manager and Racelab technology as Dabble prepares to enter the UK market.
BetMakers has also focused on technology development through acquisitions, including its purchase of Protocol Zone’s intellectual property for AU$1.5m (US$0.9m).
That deal included API data feeds, rating models and digital tote technology, which BetMakers is integrating into its GTX software suite.
