Gran Madrid | Casino Online to migrate to GiG’s CoreX platform
The transition is part of an ongoing partnership between the two companies, with GiG technology already powering a significant portion of Spain’s regulated online gaming market.
Key points:
– Gran Madrid | Casino Online will migrate to GiG’s CoreX iGaming platform
– CoreX includes AI-driven risk management tools and expanded data capabilities
– GiG’s technology powers over 9% of Spain’s regulated online gaming sector
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has announced an extended partnership with Gran Madrid | Casino Online, with the operator set to migrate to GiG’s CoreX platform.
The move introduces AI-driven risk management solutions and expanded data insights to enhance operations and player engagement.
Gran Madrid | Casino Online has been partnered with GiG since 2016 and has relied on its technology to support its digital operations.
The transition to CoreX is expected to provide greater scalability, as well as enhanced risk assessment through GiG’s LogicX and DataX tools, which apply AI-driven analytics to evaluate player risk levels.
Richard Carter, CEO of GiG, said: “The migration of Gran Madrid | Casino Online onto the CoreX platform is defining evidence of the continuous commitment everyone has at GiG to delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive real value.”
Good to know: The update comes as GiG continues its focus on strengthening its presence in the Spanish market, where its technology currently powers over 9% of regulated online gaming activity
This development follows GiG’s agreement with Nuvei in January, which will see Nuvei’s payment solutions integrated into CoreX. That partnership aims to improve payment processing efficiency and expand available deposit and payout methods across multiple regions.
José Félix Herreros, Country Manager at Gran Madrid | Casino Online, said: “Our partnership with GiG has played a key role in strengthening our online presence, complementing our land-based heritage with a cutting-edge digital experience.”
The transition to CoreX is part of a wider corporate restructuring at GiG. In late 2024, the company separated its media division into Gentoo Media, allowing GiG to focus on its B2B technology offerings, including iGaming platform development and proprietary sportsbook solutions.
