Provider Altenar has announced the signing of a new deal to provide Czech operator, MerkurXTip, with its fully-managed sportsbook solution, replacing the operator’s current product.
The Merkur casino brand, formerly known as the Gauselmann Group, has been operating since the 1970’s and launched the online platform, MerkurXTip CZ, in 2022. Now, as part of this new deal, Altenar is set to replace the operator’s current sportsbook with its own platform solution.
After initially setting up to provide sportsbook solutions in 2011, Altenar first entered the Czech market in 2024 and has already forged ongoing partnerships with both Data.Bet and Kingsbet CZ.
Sam Hill, Altenar’s Sales Director, spoke on this latest deal, saying: “The Merkur Group is a fantastic business with real heritage across the industry.
