Zeal appoints Andrea Behrendt as new CFO
Behrendt will succeed outgoing board member Sebastian Bielski.

Zeal Network SE has announced that Andrea Behrendt will step into the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 April 2025, replacing current board member and CFO, Sebastian Bielski.
The Hamburg-based e-commerce group and online lottery provider confirmed Bielski is set to leave the company at his own request on 31 March 2025, as he moves on to pursue new opportunities.
Behrendt, presently VP Group Controlling & Portfolio Management at Zeal, will join the Management Board, overseeing finance, investor relations, and ESG matters.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Steiner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zeal Network SE, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrea Behrendt as a member of the Zeal Management Board. With her deep financial and long-standing industry expertise, she brings excellent qualifications to support Zeal in the next phase of growth. Behrendt has been with Zeal since 2012, holding a series of senior finance roles, including her current position as CFO of subsidiary organisation Lotto24 AG. Prior to joining Zeal, Behrendt held management posts in controlling at VTG and the Hofmeister Group.

Bielski, who oversaw finance, investor relations and ESG during his tenure, will remain in place to complete the 2024 annual report. Reflecting on his departure, he said: “I did not take the decision lightly, as Zeal is an extremely dynamic and attractive company with a great and highly motivated team.”
