Swiss luxury lifestyle brand Forbidden City is set to debut its online casino platform, Forbidden City Casino, in April 2025 – integrating gaming with the brand’s established ecosystem of luxury experiences.

The Forbidden City Casino will offer a curated selection of games, including table games, slots, and baccarat, all designed to meet the high expectations of its target audience.

In addition to gaming, members will gain access to exclusive experiences and bespoke services, such as personalised concierge support and limited-edition merchandise. The platform’s Cross Club VIP programme will allow members to progress through exclusive tiers, and collect ‘Loyalty Squares’ that can be redeemed for experiences or merchandise.

John Cooney, Group CEO of Forbidden City SA, said: "Forbidden City Casino isn't just another online gaming platform – it's a gateway to an exclusive world of luxury lifestyle experiences for high-roller guests.”

Good to know: Switzerland legalised gambling nationwide in 2017

Cooney continued: “We're bringing not only our brand standards but Swiss standards of excellence with our hallmark privacy and discretion to the online gaming industry, creating an environment where sophisticated players can trust and enjoy both premium gaming and give them unprecedented access to our broader luxury ecosystem."

The platform will initially launch in select markets, adhering to strict security and regulatory standards. Forbidden City has already announced its intention to expand the offering in the future.
