Aristocrat Leisure has announced the resignation of its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Andy Hendrickson, who is set to join a competitor.

The company has put interim leadership arrangements in place while conducting an internal and external search for his successor.

Hendrickson joined Aristocrat in July 2021 and served in the role for nearly four years.

Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker commented: “We thank Andy for his contribution to our business over the last four years and look forward to announcing his successor in due course.”

Good to know: According to Aristocrat, Hendrickson is subject to a six-month notice period as part of his contractual obligations. The company has not yet disclosed details about potential candidates to fill the role

This March, Aristocrat Interactive, the company’s real-money gaming (RMG) division, signed a partnership with Incentive Games. The deal will allow Incentive Games to distribute its free-to-play and RMG titles through Aristocrat’s operator network, expanding its content offerings.

The Incentive Games agreement is one of several partnerships Aristocrat has signed in recent months. Earlier this year, the company partnered with Yggdrasil to distribute its portfolio in North America via Aristocrat’s Ignite platform. It also reached a five-year deal with the Hungarian National Lottery through its iLottery content studio, NeoGames.

Aristocrat Interactive has also made key leadership changes recently, appointing Nir Hakarmeli as iGaming & Sports Managing Director in February 2025. Hakarmeli, who previously held roles at Evoke and William Hill, brings nearly 15 years of industry experience.

Aristocrat has not provided a timeline for when a permanent CTO will be appointed but has stated that operations will continue without disruption during the transition.
