BGaming receives GLI approval for entry into Italian market
Certification clears the way for local content launch.
Key Points:
– BGaming has been approved by GLI to operate in the Italian iGaming market
– The company can now supply its games to licensed operators in Italy
– The move follows recent certification in Brazil, as expansion continues
BGaming has announced it’s now certified to launch its games in Italy, after securing approval from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI). The certification covers the first set of games and systems needed for the regulated market, with more titles expected to be approved further down the line.
This green light means BGaming can now offer its content to licensed Italian operators, opening up a new audience in one of Europe’s more mature iGaming markets.
The company’s also obtained Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification specific to Italy, and has completed a cybersecurity audit by Bulletproof—both of which strengthen its compliance credentials.
Italy has been on BGaming’s radar for some time, and the timing follows shortly after the provider received similar approval for Brazil. All signs point to a steady expansion strategy heading into 2025.
Antonina Ivanova, BGaming’s Head of Legal & Compliance, said: “Getting certified for the Italian market is a big moment for us. It wasn’t the easiest process, but our team pulled together and got it done. We’re fully compliant and ready to roll out. Italian players are passionate, and we’re excited to finally bring our games to them.”
With the formalities now sorted, BGaming is expected to start going live with local operators in the coming months, as it continues to build momentum across both European and international markets.
