Key points:

- Marker Trax has announced that Michael Daly will be stepping in as its new COO

- Daly yields a wealth of industry experience, including as a former CEO of affiliate Catena Media

Former Catena Media CEO Michael Daly has been announced as the new Chief Operating Officer of cashless payment organisation Marker Trax, a year after it was announced he would be exiting his former role.

Daly brings a range of executive experience within the gaming industry to this new role, as prior to his position at Catena Media, he also held leadership roles at GAN and additional gaming technology conglomerates.

Now, following his most recent appointment, Daly is set to oversee expansion strategy, technology solutions and payments innovation – as well as utilising his prior C-Level experience to help align Marker Trax with its new primary partner Euronet Worldwide. Marker Trax initially partnered with Euronet for the integration of cashless solutions in December 2023.

Indeed, following his CEO appointment at Catena Media in 2021, Daly held a successful three-year tenure and was succeeded by Manuel Stan last year. He joins Marker Trax as the company enters into its latest phase of expansion.

Commenting on Daly’s appointment, Marker Trax President Charlie Skinner said: “Michael’s track record of driving technological innovation and business growth in the gaming industry, both land-based and online, makes him the ideal leader to help scale our operations. His expertise in both traditional gaming and digital platforms will be invaluable as we continue to revolutionise cashless gaming solutions.”

Good to know: In 2023, both Koin and Marker Trax appointed Mark D Hemmerle as their respective Chief Legal Officer

This development came following the expansion of Marker Trax’s cashless credit and digital wallet solutions from Philadelphia into Nevada. Also in 2023, the payments provider expanded its cashless credit to Graton Casino & Resort in Northern California.
