Tipico, a provider of virtual slot games in Germany, has launched its Trusted Partner initiative. This programme recognises game manufacturers that do not supply to operators involved in illegal gambling activities in Germany. These black market operators bypass regulatory requirements, fail to ensure player protection and avoid paying taxes owed in Germany.
Manufacturers certified as Trusted Partners by Tipico will provide their products only to licensed operators in Germany. They are also required to promote responsible gaming practices and adhere to transparency standards. In exchange, Tipico will engage in marketing activities, including TV, digital platforms and CRM campaigns, with partners certified under this initiative.
The Trusted Partner initiative aims to focus on the regulated market, shifting attention to reputable providers and consumer protection. It also seeks to limit the reach of illegal gambling sites. Tipico plans to extend the programme to include payment service providers and media partners in the future.
Good to know: At launch, the initiative includes manufacturers such as Apparat, Games Global, Greentube and Play’n GO, as Tipico aims to enforce compliance with legal regulations and consumer protection standards
