Key points:

- Sky Bet has implemented updates aiming to simplify navigation and access to key features

- Changes include an improved search tool and updated sports content layout on Sky Bet

Sky Bet has made a number of updates to its platform intended to improve the user experience. The overall layout remains consistent, with adjustments focused on simplifying access to games and sports information.

One of the key changes is an updated search function that allows users to find games directly from the homepage. Sky Bet has introduced a featured events section highlighting sports such as tennis, cricket, NBA and snooker, as well as a featured matches area.

Horseracing content has also been updated to allow users to view all races by day or access the next available races. A new button labelled Check out our tools to help you gamble safely has been added to direct users to safer gambling tools.

Overall, time will tell whether the Flutter Entertainment-owned brand is simply fixing what isn't broken, or whether players will reaccustom and enjoy a genuinely enhanced experience.

Users can now start building their own customised bets from anywhere on the page using the BuildABet feature, which is also available on NFL and NBA markets. Promotions are accessible via a single click from the homepage.

The changes are intended to be subtle. Users will be notified only if any action is required on their part.

Good to know: The updates are live across both Sky Casino and Sky Bet platforms, with no downloads or manual actions necessary unless specifically prompted

A message on the Sky Bet website states: “We’re making it easier than ever to find your favourite games with improved search functionality across Sky Bet Games.”

However, earleir this year the High Court ruled against Sky Betting & Gaming in case related to customer data.

But there was better news for Sky Bet at the Cheltenham Festival last month, when Head of Sports PR Michael Shinners celebrated some very operator-friendly results.
