The Kaizen Foundation has announced its continued partnership with the UEFA Foundation for Children, marking a renewed effort to promote inclusion through sport.

The collaboration will be showcased during the UEFA Foundation’s 10th Anniversary celebrations in Nyon on 28 April, with the sponsorship of an amputee football match featuring players from Greece, England and Poland.

Earlier the same day, the Kaizen Foundation will also support a conference on inclusion at the Château de Bossey.

The event will explore the role of football in fostering social responsibility and will include contributions from academics and experts such as Prof. Dr. Jürgen Buschmann of the German Sports University of Cologne.

The partnership is also set to expand further through the “Legacy for the Future” project, which aims to empower girls and women across several European countries – including Portugal, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.

The initiative will work alongside women’s national teams to promote access to education, legal rights and sport, while raising awareness through national and local collaborations.

Good to know: The Kaizen Foundation will donate €300,000 ($340,000) to further these initiatives, expanding on the company’s initial collaboration with the UEFA Foundation’s “10,000 Smiles” project, which provided UEFA Euro 2024 match tickets to associations working with vulnerable children

Commenting on the partnership, Carine N’koué, General Secretary of UEFA Foundation for Children, stated: “Football has an extraordinary power to bring everybody together. Partnering with organisations like the Kaizen Foundation is key to building a movement that drives real impact and leaves a lasting legacy.

“Not only are we celebrating our 10th anniversary together, but by deepening our collaboration with the Legacy for the Future project, we can continue to build on our mission to use the power of football to unite and bring joy to millions of disadvantaged children around the world.”
