MGM Resorts has announced a new employment agreement with CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle, which will see him continue in the role through to 31 December 2028.
The agreement includes a provision for Hornbuckle to take on an advisory position after his term ends, supporting MGM Resorts' integrated resort development in Osaka, Japan until its opening.
Hornbuckle currently oversees the company’s global strategy, operations and development initiatives in both hospitality and gaming. He sits on MGM Resorts’ Board of Directors and serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for MGM China Holdings, which manages properties in Macau.
In addition to his responsibilities within the company, Hornbuckle is Chair of the US Travel Association and has formerly served as Chair of the US Travel and Tourism Advisory Board. MGM Resorts has not disclosed the financial terms of the agreement.
