GR8 Tech has announced the appointment of Edward Smyshliaiev as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Smyshliaiev brings over two decades of experience in software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning and large-scale digital transformation to the role.
In his new position, Smyshliaiev will aim to build high-performing teams, streamline development processes and enhance GR8 Tech's architecture to support growth.
Throughout the course of the role, he will gradually assume responsibility for key areas including platform development, information security and technical governance.

Good to know: This appointment represents part of GR8 Tech's broader leadership evolution, following the company's earlier leadership transition which saw Oleksandr Feshchenko become CEO in January 2025, and the promotion of Kateryna Pozdnysheva to Chief Client Officer in February
This leadership transition will also allow Artur Ashyrov, who previously held dual roles as Deputy CEO and CTO, to concentrate on broader operational strategy while continuing to work on GR8 Tech’s internal ‘Innovation Sprint’ initiative.
