Key points:
- Habanero games are now live on SkillOnNet’s Brazil-facing platforms PlayUzu.bet.br and BacanaPlay.bet.br
- The partnership aligns with both companies’ growth strategies in the regulated Brazilian iGaming sector
SkillOnNet has expanded its partnership with Habanero, bringing the supplier’s portfolio to the Brazilian market following regulatory changes earlier this year.
Habanero’s slot and table games are now available to players on PlayUzu.bet.br and BacanaPlay.bet.br, including titles such as Hot Hot Fruit, Love & Riches Eldorado and the progressive jackpot feature Jackpot Race, which uses algorithmic methods.
Brazil’s online gaming market became regulated on 1 January 2025. SkillOnNet was among the first operators to obtain a licence under the new regime, launching its localised platforms earlier in 2025.
The addition of Habanero’s content supports SkillOnNet’s strategy to deliver region-specific gaming portfolios across regulated jurisdictions.
Arcangelo Lonoce, Habanero HBD, stated: “We are extremely pleased to extend our partnership with SkillOnNet to Brazil and further boost our collaboration.
Good to know: SkillOnNet operates several international iGaming brands, including PlayOJO, DrückGlück and BacanaPlay while Habanero develops slot and table games for regulated markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America
"As one of the most anticipated market openings in a number of years, it has been a key focus for us."
Jani Kontturi, SkillOnNet Head of Games, added: “Brazil represents one of the most exciting and dynamic opportunities in the global iGaming landscape.
"Partnering with Habanero in this market allows us to deliver world-class content to a rapidly growing audience hungry for premium gaming experiences."
This expansion in Brazil follows SkillOnNet’s recent move to focus on its presence in Mexico through new content partnerships with Light & Wonder and ELK Studios.
