Solidicon secures Swedish B2B licence with BetComply support
The Gothenburg-based games studio will now be able to supply titles like Navigator and Swiminator to licensed Swedish operators, marking the first milestone in its wider expansion plan with BetComply.
Key points:
– Solidicon obtains Swedish B2B licence with regulatory support from BetComply
– The licence allows distribution of Solidicon titles to Sweden’s licensed operators
– Partnership aims to facilitate entry into other regulated markets
Solidicon has received a Swedish B2B supplier licence, enabling it to offer its portfolio of online casino games to licensed operators within Sweden.
The approval marks the first regulatory milestone in the studio’s partnership with BetComply, which is supporting the developer’s compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions.
The licence, which became mandatory in 2023 for suppliers serving Swedish-licensed operators, enables Solidicon to distribute its titles, including Navigator and Swiminator, in its domestic market.
Good to know: The company is based in Gothenburg and now joins other licensed providers operating under Sweden’s updated framework
Richard Rydell, Solidicon COO, said: “Gaining a Swedish B2B licence is an important step as we look to expand our footprint in regulated markets. BetComply’s support and hands-on expertise made the process far smoother than we expected.”
The partnership is expected to continue as Solidicon prepares to enter additional regulated markets, with BetComply acting as its compliance partner.
BetComply CCO Mike de Graaff noted: “We’ve seen a growing number of regulators introduce supplier licences over the last few years. The trend is only going to continue.”
The announcement follows developments at BetComply, including its May 2025 partnership with Mindway AI to enhance the application of safer gambling technologies across operator systems.
That collaboration included advisory work on tools such as GameScanner, which supports early detection of at-risk gambling behaviour.
While Solidicon has not disclosed which jurisdictions it will target next, the company’s current alignment with BetComply suggests further licence applications are in progress.
