Simon McGrath appointed Crown Sydney CEO
Crown Resorts has announced that Simon McGrath has been appointed as the new CEO of Crown Sydney and Group Head of Hospitality.
Subject to necessary approvals, McGrath is expected to commence the role on 1 February 2022, reporting directly to Crown CEO and Managing Director Steve McCann.
McGrath previously held the title of CEO of Accor Pacific, where he was responsible for over 397 hotels, over 62,000 guest rooms, and 18,000 employees. He has been involved in the tourism and hospitality sector for three decades, including in Malaysia, Thailand and throughout the Pacific region.
McGrath has also held senior executive positions in other hotel groups, including Southern Pacific Hotels and Rydges Hotel Groups.
