Fun88 creates Cricket World Cup betting deal

With the Cricket World Cup 2023 underway, sports betting site, Fun88 has made a new promotion for the competition, called the World Cup Aviator offer. The offer includes free bets alongside many betting options pertaining to the Cricket World Cup, with this year’s competition being held in India across 10 cities and stadiums.

The Cricket World Cup has been running since 1975 and occurs roughly once every four years. The defending champions from 2019’s World Cup are the England cricket team and the teams currently ahead, as of writing for 2023’s World Cup, are India, South America and Australia.

There have already been stories out regarding sports betting at the Cricket World Cup. In October Goa Police arrested three men for illegal sports betting on the Afghanistan – India match that was at the time ongoing. Laws regarding sports betting and gambling in India vary from state to state, with states including Goa and Daman operating legal casinos.

The World Cup Aviator offer gives free betting opportunities for users with competitive odds on a range of betting options. The company, Fun88, offers sportsbook and casino play alongside live games and virtual sports; all of which can be accessed online via desktop or smartphone.

Fun88 is notable for its contributions to the Asian sports betting market. In late October it announced former NBA player Tony Parker as its Asia brand ambassador. Moreover, Fun88 is the official Asian betting partner of Newcastle United.

The Cricket World Cup 2023 began its run on 5 October and will continue until the final on 19 November.
