Montonio to provide payment solutions to Poland’s Totalizator Sportowy
Totalizator Sportowy has been operating for over 65 years, with brands including Lotto and other products.
Payments supplier Montonio will partner with Totalizator Sportowy to deliver its services to the provider’s online casino. Totalizator Sportowy has been in operation for 67 years and is the current Polish national lottery provider.
The solution will allow users to deposit funds for online play, with the intention to ‘streamline and elevate’ the user experience. The technology has been incorporated by over 6,000 online stores across Europe, with partners in countries like Germany, Estonia and Finland.
Totalizator Sportowy has also been a supporter of Montonio, with Totalizator Sportowy Corporate Governance Department Director Piotr Bindas explaining that the company “is a portfolio company of our CVC fund, ffVC Tech & Gaming powered by Totalizator Sportowy.”
This collaboration with Montonio is one of several recently undertaken by Totalizator Sportowy to enhance and update its online offering. In July of last year, the operator partnered with IGT to implement its cloud-based lottery system, taking all of its iLottery offerings to the cloud. This made it the first lottery in Europe to do so.
On the payment solution integration, Bindas also said: “Montonio will now handle a part of our payments on our online casino platform. Their fast and reliable services have been tailored to our needs, which will give our players a seamless payment experience.”
Moreover, Montonio’s Poland Country Manager Andrzej Bagiński said: “We’re enthusiastic about bringing our innovative solutions to a broader audience and enhancing the payment experience for online casino enthusiasts across Poland.”
