888bets launches in Angola through NE Group
NE Group brings the 888bets sports betting and iGaming experience to Angola through this recent collaboration.
Originally set up as a blanket brand for all of 888bets’ operations in the continent, 888Africa operates a variety of online betting and gaming options in a range of regulated African markets.
This partnership now allows customers in Angola access to online sports betting through 888bets, as well as a range of other features, such as popular crash game Aviator. Further, 888bets’ sportsbook features responsible gaming tools, alongside dedicated teams to monitor bettor’s habits and practices.
A spokesperson for 888bets commented on this latest collaboration, saying: “As a country with huge potential, we expect big things from our launch in Angola. Working with NE Group has enabled us to deliver an experience that sports bettors will love and that is enriched with engaging products.”
888bets has just released its Q1 2024 results, showing a decrease in revenue across the board – it will be hoping this latest expansive collaboration can help it turn the corner as we progress through the year and beyond.
NE Games operates as a B2B iGaming software supplier, with a broad knowledge of the fast-developing African market, which 888bets will hope to utilise in this latest collaboration. Speaking on its new partnership with 888bets, NE Games CEO Imran Bukhari said: “It’s brilliant to see the 888bets sportsbook launch in Angola to bring sports betting fans an experience they deserve. Our specialised sports betting platform and lightweight fronted solution for Africa allows 888bets to quickly scale.”
In February, NE Group also partnered with WA.Technology in an Africa-based joint venture.
