Scientific Games and New York Lottery to extend longstanding partnership
A deal was first struck between the pair in 1976.
Scientific Games has agreed a new primary provider contract with the New York Lottery to continue a collaboration related to scratch-off games which first started nearly 50 years ago.
According to data, Scientific Games aided the New York Lottery’s Scratch-Off games to a $4.4bn product by fiscal year 2022-2023, while the partnership has helped to contribute billions in funding for education in the state.
Through this new deal, Scientific Games will continue to provide the New York Lottery with consumer and product research and data analytics, game development and portfolio planning.
New York Lottery Director Gweneth Dean said: “The New York Lottery is proud to continue its partnership with Scientific Games.
“For decades, our collaboration has resulted in billions of dollars for New York’s public schools, and we look forward to creating exciting new games for our players and supporting our dedicated retailers across the state.”

Recently, Scientific Games has also signed an exclusive contract with Slovenia’s National Lottery, Loterija Slovenije, extending the pair’s partnership together.
