DraftKings unveils new responsible gaming partnership with UFC

As part of a newly announced collaboration, DraftKings and UFC have developed a responsible gaming advert featuring MMA commentator Jon Anik, in which he highlights the operator’s Responsible Gaming Center via the DraftKings app.
Indeed, a 15-second version of the advertisement is set to air for the first time prior to the ceremonial weigh-in for UFC 316 on 6 June, with the 30-second iteration following a day later on the 7 June with two slots during fight night. Further, the 15-second version will also be displayed during the UFC 318 broadcast on 19 July – as well as across social media throughout the remainder of the calendar year.
Speaking on this latest development, DraftKings Chief Responsible Gaming Officer, Lori Kalani, stated: “Responsible gaming is a core part of who we are at DraftKings, and we’re always looking for impactful ways to expand awareness and education.
“UFC provides a tremendous platform to amplify that message to a broad and passionate audience. We’re proud to collaborate on this campaign to reinforce that responsible gaming is for everyone.”

More recently, last month, the operator reported its full Q1 2025 financial results, revealing a revenue figure of $1.41bn for the period – up 20% year-on-year despite making a net loss of $33.9m.
Elsewhere, DraftKings has also been subject to recent legal action, following Micro-Gaming Ventures’ submission of a patent infringement lawsuit during May.
