Online operator CopyBet has joined the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) as its latest addition.

The platform allows customers to copy the bets made by others on CopyBet, hence the name, with tipsters ranked based on recent betting performance and profitability.

Launched in 2016, CopyBet supports both pre-match and in-play betting markets and operates under a UK Gambling Commission licence.

Anton Ivanov, CopyBet UK Business Development Director, said: “CopyBet is pleased to announce its membership of the Betting and Gaming Council.

“We look forward to working with other members to help raise industry standards further and create a culture of safer betting.”

Also recently, CopyBet became part of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) as it continues to support a fair and safer gambling industry.

The BCG currently represents around 90% of the regulated gambling industry in the UK, including both retail and online businesses.
