Octoplay enters US market through BetMGM partnership in New Jersey

Octoplay has announced the launch of its games portfolio with BetMGM in New Jersey, representing the supplier’s first live deployment in the US market.
The integration builds on an earlier collaboration between the two companies in Ontario, where Octoplay introduced a tailored jackpot system, Jackpot Blitz, developed in partnership with BetMGM. The latest rollout extends that relationship into the US, with New Jersey acting as Octoplay’s initial foothold in North America.
The company currently holds active licences in multiple European markets, including Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands and Malta and was recently granted a provisional licence in Michigan.
Octoplay’s expansion in the US is part of a broader commercial strategy for 2025, which also includes ongoing growth across Europe.
In a statement, Ralitsa Georgieva, Director of Business Development at Octoplay, described the New Jersey launch as a key milestone in the company’s strategy. Oliver Bartlett, VP of Gaming at BetMGM, added that based on past performance, the content is expected to perform well in the US.

The supplier entered the UK market through a deal with Rank Group and signed an agreement with JOI Gaming to expand in the Dutch regulated sector.
Octoplay’s entry into New Jersey aligns with its strategy to combine European market saturation with early-stage North American growth, positioning the company for further activity across the continent as additional state approvals are pursued.
