Naida Buljugic appointed as KKCG Chief People and Culture Officer
Buljugic currently also holds the same role at KKCG subsidiary, Allwyn.
Key points:
– Allwyn operator KKCG has appointed Naida Buljugic as its Chief People and Culture Officer
– Buljugic will now oversee the group’s people and culture department, while retaining the same role and the Allwyn subsidiary
Allwyn owner and operator KKCG has announced the appointment of Naida Buljugic as its new Chief People and Culture Officer.
Indeed, this reshuffle will also see Buljugic retain her current position as Chief People and Culture Officer at Allwyn, as she also takes on the broader responsibility of overseeing the same department of the wider group organisation.
Prior to her C-Level Allwyn appointment in 2023, Buljugic worked as the lottery supplier’s Head of HR (Austrian Casinos) for five years. Further, she holds over two decades of HR experience across a multitude of industries, and will now help to oversee the people and culture department at KKCG Group.
Speaking on her new role, Buljugic said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to help drive the wider KKCG growth story, and the continued evolution of KKCG’s technology, energy and real estate businesses in Europe and the US, alongside that of Allwyn. Working with Karel and my colleagues in KKCG’s senior leadership, I am ambitious for what we can achieve for the business and for our people.”
Good to know: During Q1 2025, Allwyn recorded a revenue figure of €2.24bn ($2.62bn)
Also commenting, Karel Komárek, KKCG Founder and Chair of the Board, said: “To support our continued international expansion, we want to recruit and develop the very best talent. Naida has proven time and again her ability to support organisations that are on exciting growth trajectories across markets, and I’m delighted that she is joining KKCG’s senior team.”
More recently, last month the UK’s Gambling Commission released an update stating that it had launched an investigation into Allwyn, related to its takeover of the UK’s National Lottery, that could lead to potential financial penalties.
No further updates have been released by either party as of the time of writing.
