Betsson and BF Games debut FK Zalgiris-themed slot in Lithuania

Betsson has a raft of sports sponsorship deals in place across the Baltics, not least a long-standing one with top Lithuanian football team FK Zalgiris Vilnius.

Players in Lithuania will now be able to access a new slot game based on the iconic club through Betsafe, created in partnership with international slot developers BF Games.

The colours and classic iconography of the club feature prominently in the newly launched title, which the operators hope will resonate particularly with the team’s loyal fanbase.

BF Games continues its expansion across Europe with this deal, having signed deals in recent years to introduce its games in Greece with NetBet Casino, the Netherlands with Jacks.nl and Poland with LV Bet.

Piotr Saluda, Product Owner at BF Games, said: “It was an exciting experience for us – not just creating a slot, but building something special for Zalgiris supporters, inspired by their love for the club.”

Good to know: Betsson has had a strong presence in the Lithuanian market since 2016 with its subsidiary Betsafe, which has sponsored the Lithuanian Basketball League since 2016. The partnership was extended this year as the operator replaced Betsafe in Lithuania with its flagship brand, Betsson 

The football club has been sponsored by Betsson since 2022, the year the team became the first Lithuanian football club to appear in the group stages of a UEFA club competition.
