Tombola and Sisal partner to expand online bingo in Italy
Flutter brands collaborate on platform integration.
Key points:
– Tombola has entered a platform partnership with Sisal to enhance the online bingo offering in Italy
– The agreement introduces shared liquidity and a new bingo game, offering larger prizes and a broader player base
Flutter Entertainment’s online bingo brand Tombola has formed a platform partnership with Sisal. This marks Tombola’s first venture into a platform integration model.
The collaboration brings Tombola’s proprietary bingo product to Sisal’s digital platform. While games will continue to carry Sisal branding, they will be powered by Tombola’s technology and product infrastructure.
As part of the partnership, Super Bingo has launched in Italy. This new 75-ball game introduces larger full house prizes, made possible by the combined player liquidity from both brands. The integration offers users access to bigger guaranteed jackpots and an expanded selection of bingo experiences.
Later this year, Tombola’s casino product will be introduced to Sisal’s platform, including player chat functionality and side games. These additions are aimed at building a multi-product environment across the two brands.
Good to know: The partnership may inform future cross-brand initiatives within Flutter’s international operations
Rosangela Robbiani, Flutter Southern Europe and Africa (SEA) CPO, stated: “We’re thrilled to see this combination happening, as Italy proves once again to be a fertile ground for collaboration across Flutter’s brands, particularly within Southern Europe and Africa.
Marion Ryan, Tombola MD, added: “This is a hugely exciting moment for Tombola, as we take the next step in our evolution and bring our award-winning bingo product to Sisal’s players in Italy.
“The ability to seamlessly integrate and scale our platform for future partnerships represents a fantastic opportunity for Flutter to transform the bingo proposition, both within our existing markets and beyond.”
For context, Flutter Entertainment completed the acquisition of UK online bingo operator Tombola in November 2021 for £402m ($547m). Flutter acquired Sisal in August 2022 for £1.62bn.
