BetMGM and AGS launch exclusive Rakin’ Bacon! slots across online and land-based channels

Key points:

– BetMGM and AGS debut new Rakin’ Bacon!- titles with online and land-based exclusivity

– Games available online in New Jersey and Michigan and on-property in Atlantic City and Detroit

– Mid-September launch planned for Rakin’ Bacon! Jackpot Bonus Board

BetMGM has partnered with gaming supplier AGS to launch new titles in the Rakin’ Bacon! franchise, combining digital and land-based exclusivity across multiple markets.

The first game, Rakin’ Bacon! Jackpots Bonus Wheel, is now available on BetMGM Casino platforms in New Jersey and Michigan and at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City and MGM Grand Detroit. A second title, Rakin’ Bacon! Jackpot Bonus Board, is scheduled for release in mid-September.

The agreement marks the first time a third-party game has been released on BetMGM with simultaneous exclusivity online and on-property. The franchise, featuring the golden pig character Cornsquealius, has become established in land-based venues and is now expanding further into digital channels.

According to BetMGM, the new titles are designed to create continuity between online and retail formats. The three-reel versions offer jackpots, wild multipliers and tiered progressives, with features differing between digital and land-based play.

Good to know: BetMGM’s omnichannel approach already includes other exclusive titles such as MGM Grand Millions and Bison Fury through its progressive jackpot network

AGS said the launch is part of its strategy to adapt popular land-based content for digital markets, highlighting the appeal of established franchises for cross-channel engagement.

Earlier this year, BetMGM reported that nearly half of its top-grossing slots were omnichannel titles, strengthening its integration with MGM Resorts International properties.

The partnership follows BetMGM’s strong first-half results, published in July, when revenue rose 35% to $1.35bn and EBITDA turned positive at $109m, compared with a $123m loss in the prior-year period.

At the time, the operator upgraded its 2025 revenue guidance to $2.7bn, underpinned by both iGaming and sports betting growth.
