Yggdrasil expands into Germany with Novoline
Players in Germany will have access to Yggdrasil games via local Novomatic-owned operator, Novoline.
Key points:
– Yggdrasil games will be available through Novoline in Germany
– Novoline is a Hamburg-based operator that forms part of the Novomatic Group
– Operator will also have access to games from boutique providers through the YGG Masters programme
Yggdrasil has added to a string of recent European commercial deals and can now count Germany as one of the regulated markets within which it has a strong presence.
Novoline was set up as an operator as part of the Novomatic umbrella and its customers will soon have access to the Yggdrasil library of games.
Since 2021 the platform has hosted content from Greentube, Novomatic’s interactive division.
Following this deal, the supplier will provide Novoline with titles such as, the Vikings series, Champion of the Underworld and Valley of the Gods.
Jose Kadala, COO at Yggdrasil, said this of Novoline: “It’s a brand that has quickly gained traction in a highly regulated market and we firmly believe that our titles will resonate well with their player base.”
Indeed, the Hamburg-based operation, which is run through Lowen Entertainment of the Novomatic group, has been expanding its operations of late and teamed up with software provider Swintt recently to expand its collection of over 650 slot games.
Good to know: As of 2024, Novoline has been the shirt sponsor of second division German football team F.C Kaiserslautern
That number will be further boosted with access to a selection of games from the YGG Masters programme, which will introduce boutique providers like Peter & Sons and 4ThePlayer to a wider German audience.
Florian Hermann is the Managing Director at Novoline.DE, and he marked the deal with the following statement: “Yggdrasil has more than a decade’s experience in producing engaging titles that have a strong fanbase. We’re confident that our customers will love the new titles added to our offering.”
Over the past couple of months, Yggdrasil has signed similar expansion deals in a number of other countries, including bet365 for Italy, Fruity Entertainment in Finland, and even further afield with BetArabia for Lebanon.
